Clarion Chukwura

Clarion Chukwura, born July 24th 1964 at the Lagos teaching hospital, Idi-araba, Lagos and a native of Anambra state. She attended Moluka and Lady Lark nursery schools in Yaba, Lagos and All Saints primary school, Montgomery road, Yaba, Lagos and proceeded to Queen of our Rosary College (Q.R.C.), Onitsha, Anambra State, for her secondary education. She studied acting and speech at the Department of Dramatic Arts, University of Ife, Ile-Ife, Osun State. Nollywood actress and Chief Executive Officer of Jade Production, Clarion Chukwura,began acting in 1980 and came into limelight in 1984 in a then popular Television Soap Opera titled “Mirror in the sun”. She has since been involved in over 80 English and Yoruba Movies. She created the Clarion Chukwurah Initiative, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), designed to support the less privileged in the society which has positively touched the lives of several less-privileged homes in Nigeria. She is a divorcee with lovely children.
