Member Spotlight: Interplast (Ingreen Irrigation Solutions)

Interplast (Ingreen Irrigation Solutions), a member of the Ghana Netherlands Business & Cultural Council (GNBCC) continues to demonstrate its commitment to advancing agricultural innovation and sustainability across Africa through its support for strategic, research-driven initiatives.

In partnership with the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), Ingreen recently delivered a fully integrated irrigation solution designed to support climate-smart, year-round agricultural research operations. The project covered 70 hectares of sprinkler irrigation systems, supplying a robust and efficient infrastructure tailored to meet the demands of advanced research environments.

The scope of the solution included pumps, filtration units, pipes, and all associated accessories, ensuring a comprehensive system that enhances reliability, water efficiency, and long-term performance.

This initiative was supported and funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH under the Crops to End Hunger (CtEH) programme. The irrigation solution was supplied by Interplast LTD and successfully installed by the EHB team, highlighting strong collaboration and effective execution among all project partners.

Interplast values its partnership with IITA and remains committed to strengthening research infrastructure that underpins resilient agricultural systems, sustainable productivity, and innovation across Africa. Through Ingreen Irrigation Solutions, the company continues to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions that support food security and agricultural development.
