Happening This Friday: The 2025 Ghana–Dutch Diaspora Evening Networking Event

The Ghana Netherlands Business & Culture Council (GNBCC), in partnership with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ghana, is delighted to invite members, partners, and the wider community to the 2025 Diaspora Evening, taking place this Friday, 18th December 2025, at Marvels Ghana, Accra.

This year’s gathering is themed:

“Beyond Culture: The Diaspora as a Catalyst for Creative Economy Growth and Investment.”

The event will bring together Ghana–Dutch diaspora professionals, creatives, entrepreneurs, cultural practitioners, and policymakers for an inspiring evening dedicated to exploring how creativity, identity, and cultural exchange can unlock new pathways for economic development and investment.

Attendees will enjoy a special screening of “Home where it all begins” by Sankofa Archives, a film that reflects on heritage, identity, and the evolving role of the diaspora in the cultural landscape.

A dynamic conversation led by experts in culture, investment, and diaspora engagement will explore how creativity influences economic growth and how the diaspora can serve as a bridge for innovation, business development, and bilateral partnerships.

Local entrepreneurs will showcase products and services that highlight Ghana’s creative and cultural industries—providing opportunities for networking, investment, and collaboration.
