September Activities Recap: A Note from Our GM

Dear Reader,

September was an eventful “back-to-business” month for the GNBCC. The highlight of the month was co-hosting a cocktail at Portside to celebrate their 15th Anniversary in Ghana. The evening was filled with the warm tones of live music and the pleasure of seeing our members actively networking and engaging in discussions. We also had the pleasure of joining the launch of the She’ll Fix campaign, an initiative by Vivo Energy aimed at empowering women drivers with the confidence and technical knowledge to take care of their vehicles:

Dr. Ainuson from AB Lexmall & Associates guided the newly elected board members and GNBCC staff through the responsibilities and functioning of the GNBCC Board. We look forward to our next board meeting in October.

On the economic front, inflation continued to decline, reaching a single-digit rate of 9.4% in September. The cedi lost some ground against the Euro and the USD, but the GDP growth forecast for 2025 remains solid. I invite you to read an insightful summary by Professor Samuel Lartey:
