Africa Works! Conference: where Africa and the Netherlands meet<\/strong>! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since its initial edition in 2012, NABC\u2019<\/a>s flagship event Africa Works! has grown into the largest Africa-focused business conference in the Benelux. With an average of 400 visitors per day and 30% of the participants from Africa; Africa Works! is THE place where Africa and the Netherlands meet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAfrica\u2019s Green Industrialisation – Made in Africa\u201d <\/strong>is the overarching theme we have chosen for the sixth edition of Africa Works! with a focus on green solutions which aim to decouple economic growth from environmental harm. Africa Works! 2024 will explore sustainable economic diversification including opportunities linked to three themes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.                  Circular Food Production <\/strong>(regenerative approaches to food production and repurposing waste streams in the agro-processing sector).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.                  Renewable Energy <\/strong>(alternative energy sources for the energy transition and advanced waste-to-energy technologies).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.                  Sustainable Agro-logistics <\/strong>(efficient cold chains and sustainable transportation systems).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Programme<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Africa Works! 2024 conference will take place on the 23rd of April in KIT Royal Tropical Institute<\/strong>, Amsterdam, located at Mauritskade 63 1092 AD, Amsterdam. The conference consists of inspiring keynote speeches, insightful workshops around the three abovementioned themes, an Investors\u2019 Session, an Innovation Round Table, and country-focus sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
