The role will actively recruit new members, manage key member relationships, coordinate events focused on B2B and trade linkages, and ensure the value proposition of the Chamber is clearly communicated to prospective and existing members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A. Membership &amp; Business Development (40%)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lead the development and execution of the GNBCC&#8217;s annual membership recruitment and retention strategy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify, prospect, and recruit new corporate members, ensuring a strong pipeline of potential partners.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage and cultivate relationships with existing key members to ensure high retention rates and satisfaction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Serve as the first point of contact for new membership inquiries, outlining benefits and onboarding new members.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate member-to-member introductions and B2B matchmaking sessions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute to market research on key sectors relevant to Ghana-Netherlands trade and investment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in producing content for membership outreach, including market updates and sector insights.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>B. Trade &amp; Commercial Services (35%)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Respond to and track member and prospective-member inquiries related to market-entry, sector opportunities, and local business requirements for the Ghana-Netherlands corridor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop and maintain a directory of key trade and investment opportunities for members.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Facilitate connections between Dutch companies\/investors and Ghanaian distributors, agents, and industry partners.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate trade missions, delegation visits, and commercial networking events.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain strong working relationships with Dutch diplomatic missions, key government agencies (e.g., GIPC, GEPA), and private-sector associations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop paid services for members and non-members, generating income for the GNBCC<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>C. Program &amp; Event Support (20%)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lead the planning and execution of business development and commercial-focused events, including:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sector-Specific roundtables and seminars<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Networking receptions and cocktails<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Trade Missions and Delegation visits<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CEO\/CFO\/Executive Breakfast meetings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare event briefs, attendee lists, minutes, and follow-up action plans.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the General Manager in managing high-level stakeholder and partnership engagements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Qualifications and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum 3-5 years&#8217; experience in business development, sales, membership management, or trade promotion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven ability to identify and secure new business\/memberships.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong understanding of the Ghanaian business ecosystem and an awareness of the Ghana-Netherlands business relationship.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience working with chambers of commerce, business associations, or diplomatic missions is an asset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Skills &amp; Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrated sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong organizational and project management skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work under pressure and deliver with deadlines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proactive, energetic, and goal-oriented approach to business development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High attention to detail and discretion when dealing with sensitive member information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deadline for Application &#8211; 20th February, 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Submit your application with us via this <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/1fbyDBMcdc4qBsPy7\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>LINK<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The GNBCC is seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Officer to support membership growth, strengthen trade and commercial services, and facilitate partnerships within the Ghana\u2013Netherlands business ecosystem.
