This initiative aims to align Ghana\u2019s laws with global best practices, simplify compliance, and foster a more enabling environment for businesses to thrive<sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What is Being Reviewed?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"p-rc_a3cafc186424b88e-33\">The preparatory work focuses on three major legislative pillars and their subsequent amendments<sup><\/sup>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The Excise Duty Act, 2014 (Act 878)<\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Customs Act, 2015 (Act 891)<\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Income Tax Act, 2015 (Act 896)<\/strong> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"p-rc_a3cafc186424b88e-37\">The Ministry is seeking specific proposals regarding tax base and rate structures, valuation and transfer pricing, administrative procedures, and the use of technology to reduce compliance costs<sup><\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Two Critical Ways to Engage<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To ensure the Dutch-Ghanaian business community is well-represented, we encourage members to participate through the following channels:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1. The GIPC Tax Policy Dialogue Questionnaire<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), in partnership with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and the Department for Business and Trade, is facilitating a <strong>Tax Policy Dialogue Series<\/strong>.
