Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) Now an Authority"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) has officially transitioned into the <strong>Ghana Investment Promotion Authority (GIPA)<\/strong>, following the enactment of the <strong>Ghana Investment Promotion Authority Act, 2026 (Act 1173)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new legislation marks a significant development in Ghana\u2019s investment promotion framework and provides a strengthened legal and institutional foundation for promoting and facilitating investment in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The transformation is expected to enhance the Authority\u2019s role in attracting, facilitating, promoting and retaining investments, while supporting Ghanaian businesses seeking to expand into regional and international markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new Act also provides an updated framework for Ghana\u2019s investment promotion efforts, with the Authority expected to contribute to improving the investment climate and supporting the country\u2019s broader
