Times<\/em> (B&amp;FT).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The significant growth in merchandise trade has been driven by stronger exports, which pushed the country to record its <strong>largest trade surplus on record<\/strong>, amounting to <strong>GH\u00a2148.3 billion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The development highlights the substantial expansion of Ghana\u2019s trade activity over the period, with exports playing a key role in driving the country\u2019s trade performance in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The increase from US$6 billion in 2004 to US$52.5 billion in 2025 represents a major expansion in the value of merchandise trade over the 21-year period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
