These interactions have created opportunities and strengthened relationships among producers, processors, buyers, input dealers, service providers and other actors within the horticulture sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yet one important piece has been missing: a dedicated digital space where businesses across the horticulture value chain can find one another, present their products and services and develop new commercial relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/hbpghana.org\/marketplace\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>HBP Marketplace<\/strong><\/a> was created to help bridge this gap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Building on Ghana\u2019s Horticulture Business Network<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Recognising the need for a more structured digital marketplace for the sector, the <strong>Horticulture Business Platform (HBP)<\/strong>, in collaboration with <strong>IDH<\/strong> and the <strong>Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ghana<\/strong>, worked with other partners and stakeholders across the horticulture value chain to develop the HBP Marketplace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The resulting platform gives businesses one place to increase their visibility, promote what they offer and connect with potential buyers and business partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rather than replacing the relationships and networks that already exist within the sector, the Marketplace supports and extends them. It provides an online space where existing connections can grow and new ones can begin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Can You Find on the HBP Marketplace?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Marketplace brings together <strong>fresh produce, processed products, agricultural inputs, professional services and business profiles<\/strong> on one platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Producers and processors can list their products and make them visible to potential buyers. Buyers can search for products, suppliers, services and prospective business partners. Input dealers can promote seeds, fertilisers, equipment and other agricultural solutions, while service providers can introduce their expertise to businesses seeking specialised support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Businesses can also create profiles, publish listings and respond to enquiries, giving them an additional channel through which to present their products, services and capabilities to the wider horticulture business community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">More Than an Online Shop<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The HBP Marketplace is not limited to selling products to end consumers. It is designed to support commercial connections across the horticulture value chain, including business-to-business relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Buyers can search and compare available options, make offers or express interest and continue conversations directly with potential partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These connections can take different forms.
