{"id":7628,"date":"2025-07-10T13:42:48","date_gmt":"2025-07-10T13:42:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gnbcc.net\/?p=7628"},"modified":"2025-10-06T09:14:14","modified_gmt":"2025-10-06T09:14:14","slug":"gnbcc-and-klm-joint-networking-cocktail","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gnbcc.net\/gnbcc-and-klm-joint-networking-cocktail\/","title":{"rendered":"GNBCC and KLM Joint Networking Cocktail"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Last Friday, the Ghana Netherlands Business &amp; Culture Council (GNBCC), in partnership with our premium member&nbsp;<strong>KLM Royal Dutch Airlines<\/strong>, hosted its first&nbsp;<strong>Networking Cocktail of the year<\/strong>&nbsp;at the GNBCC Gardens. This joint event turned out to be one of our most engaging and experience-rich cocktails yet, with members describing it as both refreshing and memorable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The program began at&nbsp;<strong>6 PM<\/strong>, with guests from our network arriving, enjoying welcome drinks, and connecting with one another. After a warm welcome and brief networking,&nbsp;<strong>GNBCC General Manager, Hilde Famaey<\/strong>, addressed the gathering and thanked KLM for partnering with us to organize this special event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She then invited&nbsp;<strong>Isabelle<\/strong>&nbsp;Indeweij Gerlings, KLM\u2019s Country Manager for Ghana, to speak. Isabelle expressed KLM\u2019s delight in collaborating with GNBCC and explained their goal for the evening\u2014to bring the&nbsp;<strong>KLM travel experience to the ground<\/strong>. She introduced the unique program line-up for the night, which included a raffle, quiz session, and a full inflight dining experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As she spoke, a&nbsp;<strong>KLM-branded catering truck<\/strong>&nbsp;arrived at the entrance, and attendants quickly began serving trays of food to guests. The meals, which were served in&nbsp;<strong>three courses<\/strong>&nbsp;(starter, main, and dessert), were the same menu options KLM offers on board their flights, giving guests a unique and tangible insight into KLM\u2019s customer experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following the meal, Isabelle led a&nbsp;<strong>3D presentation<\/strong>&nbsp;showcasing the different seating options and travel classes available on KLM flights, including a highlight of a&nbsp;<strong>newly introduced seat<\/strong>, which drew much interest from the audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The evening continued with a&nbsp;<strong>quiz session<\/strong>, where guests answered questions related to KLM\u2019s history and operations. Isabelle was joined by&nbsp;<strong>Angela Q<\/strong>uarcoo, KLM\u2019s Head of Corporate, to present winners with exciting KLM-branded goodie bags.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The highlight of the night was the&nbsp;<strong>raffle draw<\/strong>. Hilde joined Isabelle and Angela on stage to announce the winners. Three lucky guests received&nbsp;<strong>an upgrade from Explorer to Silver<\/strong>, while two more received&nbsp;<strong>an upgrade all the way to Gold<\/strong>. The energy in the garden was upbeat, with winners expressing clear excitement and appreciation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event wrapped up with more networking, light conversations, and photo opportunities. It was truly a well-organized and impactful evening, and we are grateful to&nbsp;<strong>KLM<\/strong>&nbsp;for making it possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We also extend our thanks to all our members who attended and contributed to the success of the event.
