Kidney disease is one of those things you wouldn’t wish on your worst enemy, it’s a disease that’s likely to destroy your life unless you’re a stinking millionaire. It happens all the time to regular people, but it’s the celebs who gets the most attention.
Nigerian actor Leo Mezie, most known for appearances in movies such as ‘Labista’ and ‘Close Enemy’, has resurfaced after a few years hiatus. Unfortunately, it turns out he had been battling a kidney problem that entire time.
Mezie apparently has been going for dialysis, trying to manage the disease, but the procedure has drained his coffers. He now requires 10m Naira ($36,000) for a transplant abroad.
