Asante Kotoko skipper Amos Frimpong has thrown down the gauntlet ahead of their first leg CAF Confederation Cup tie with Coton Sport Garoua in Yaounde on Sunday.
The Ghanaian side edged past Kariobangi Sharks before setting up a clash with the Cameroonian outfit but he believes his side is well prepared to meet their opponents and beat them as they seek for a place in the group stage of the competition.
"No matter how difficult the game we are surely going back to Ghana with a very good result," Amos told Nhyira FM
"We have a potent defense that can neutralize the attacking prowess of Coton Sport"
"We have discussed a lot and watched montages of Coton Sport before coming here (Cameroon) and our coach has encouraged us to take our chances even if its a half chance.
"They are a good side but we have what it takes to eliminate them. We are battle ready and victory will surely be ours."
