Information reaching Modernghana.com indicates that the senior national team of Ghana, the Black Stars will go to Ethiopia for camping before finally flying to Kenya to play the Harambee Stars.
Ghana will be coming up against Kenya early next month in a qualifying match as they look to book their place in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations. Kenya will host Ghana at the MISC Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi in that crucial match.
With the activities of the Ghana Football Association at a standstill, it is expected that the CAF/FIFA Liaison committee will lead the stars to Kenya for the match.
They will play the supervisory role as the technical team led by Head Coach Kwasi Appiah also take care of the technical aspect of the match to ensure the team records the needed victory.
The Black Stars kicked off their qualifying campaign with a heavy 5-0 win over Ethiopia at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. Coach Kwasi Appiah is expected to unveil the list of players who will be called up for the match in the coming days.
Many fans are optimistic about seeing a blend of new players with experienced players. Kwadwo Asamoah is expected to return to the team after his long break from National duties.
The highly anticipated clash with Kenya has been scheduled for September 8, 2018.
