Reports from Dormaa indicates that Aduana Stars are currently in talks to sign experienced coach David Duncan to steer the affairs of the playing body ahead of the start of the Special Competition being proposed by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Normalization Committee (NC).
A source close to the club has disclosed to Modernghana Sports that Coach David Duncan who has been taking a rest from coaching for the past couple of years is in advanced talks with management of Aduana and is likely to be unveiled as the new head very soon.
The formal coach of Kotoko is one of the best coaches currently in the country and a move to Dormaa will surely add to the stocks of the club as they prepare to participate in the Novelty competition later this month.
Coach Duncan has coached some of the top teams in the country notably Ghana Premier League sides Sekondi Hassacas, Great Olympics, AshantiGold and Accra Hearts of Oak. His expertise and what he brings to the table is unprecedented it will be a massive boost if Aduana is able to get him.
The Green and Yellows have been without a coach since they mutually parted ways with Japanese trainer Kenichi Yatsuhashi in September last year. With the commencement of the NC’s special competition just around the corner they will new to speed up and get Duncan on board or any other coach they dim worthy of taking up the vacant job.
