Three men armed with a SAMURAI sword are arrested by police in east London after a boy, 15, was found with 24-inch blade hidden down his trouser leg at King's Cross Station

  • The three men were arrested by Waltham Forest Police in Walthamstow today 
  • Officers shared a photo of the deadly samurai sword on their Twitter account 
  • Earlier, a boy, 15, was arrested with a 24-inch sword hidden down his trouser leg 
  • Officers at King's Cross Station had to use two rulers to measure the sword

Three men have been arrested after being found with a samurai sword in east London.

The men were arrested in Walthamstow, with Waltham Forest police taking to Twitter to share a photo of the deadly blade. 

It was the second sword recovered by police officers in London today, following a bloody start to the new year. 

Earlier, a 15-year-old boy was arrested after transport police officers found a 24-inch sword down his trouser leg.

Officers at King's Cross Station in London said they had removed the boy from a Great Northern Rail service.

They said a sword was found concealed down his trouser leg.  

The sword allegedly measured 24-inches, the Metro reported. 

British Transport Police shared a photo of the sword on its King's Cross and Saint Pancras. 

Officers had to use two 30cm rulers to measure the sword, pictured below.

The boy was arrested and taken into custody.
