The GNBCC in 2025

As we wrap up 2025, we look back on an eventful year!

Our membership has grown with 29 new members in 2025, bringing the GNBCC family to 108 companies. Through our new partnership with the Ghana Employers Association, our network now reaches over 1,200 businesses nationwide.

We introduced several initiatives:

• The webinar series: leveraging internal expertise, we covered vital subjects such as Wills and Estate Planning, the Cocoa Sector, Freight Forwarding, and Pensions. With an average of 70 participants per session, the demand for shared knowledge is clear.
• Our November CEO/CFO dinner provided exclusive insights from PwC Ghana on the 2026 National Budget and its implications for business.
• Collaborative networking: we partnered with the French, South African, German, Spanish, and Belgian chambers for joint events, including a unique breakfast meeting focused on tax dispute litigation combined with a member exhibition.

We look forward to your thoughts and suggestions via our membership survey to continuously improve the service for our members.

Our continued partnership with the Royal Netherlands Embassy remains the backbone of our success. Managing the Private Sector Development (PSD) program allows us to give people the tools to build something lasting via the Women in Business Program, a mentorship program assisting women entrepreneurs in the agriculture sector to be successful in their ventures, the Horticulture Business Challenge, bridging the gap between university and the practical skills required for the job market through targeted internships as well as our newly created SME Desk with tailored assistance in the areas of Marketing, Accountancy and Human Resources.

We successfully executed two major trade missions from The Netherlands in May and October for the benefit of Dutch and Ghanaian companies in the agriculture sector. We also officially launched the Ghana Seed Partnership to bring Dutch seed technology to local farmers to increase yields and incomes.

Our vision for 2026 focuses on quality and deeper engagement. We will bring you enhanced engagement and tools to let your business shine, new leads and opportunities to grow your company and continued advocacy by keeping an open dialogue with the authorities.

I want to thank our Board, the Embassy, and our hardworking team for a successful 2025. Most importantly, thank you to our members for taking the risks that drive this country forward.
