BoG sees stronger credit, resilient cedi supporting recovery

The Bank of Ghana (BoG) says stronger private sector lending, resilient external buffers and a recovery in the cedi are reinforcing Ghana’s economic recovery.
According to the Business & Financial Times (B&FT), the central bank sees these developments as important factors supporting the ongoing recovery of the Ghanaian economy.
The improvement in private sector credit, together with resilient external buffers and the recovery of the cedi, points to strengthening conditions within the economy.
