Call for Proposals: Data Collection Service Provider for Seed Distribution & Marketing Study in Ghana

The Ghana Netherlands Business and Culture Council (GNBCC), under the Ghana Seed Partnership (GSP) project, is inviting qualified organizations to submit proposals to undertake a national data collection assignment for a study on seed distribution, retail dynamics, and farmer purchasing behaviour in Ghana’s vegetable seed sector.

The study aims to generate valuable insights to strengthen the country’s horticultural seed market, inform behavioural change strategies, and support the design of targeted seed marketing campaigns.

The selected service provider will be responsible for:

• Collecting data from 400 farmers across the four main vegetable production zones in Ghana,
  
• Conducting surveys with 50 agro-input shops and key seed distribution companies, and
  
• Delivering cleaned, validated datasets with clear documentation and quality assurance.
  

Applicants must demonstrate extensive experience in agricultural data collection, proven digital data management capacity, multilingual field teams, and robust quality control systems.

The assignment will be implemented over eight weeks, with a maximum budget of EUR 30,000. Applications with lower budgets will be assessed favourably.
