Horticulture Business Challenge (HBC) 2026: Call for Company Applications

Are you a Dutch or Ghanaian horticulture company based in Accra? Does your organization face a business challenge that could benefit from the fresh perspectives of a team of young Ghanaian talents?

Submit your business case for the Horticulture Business Challenge 2026. Your company will be matched with a team of high-potential tertiary students, recent graduates, and young entrepreneurs tasked with providing creative, practical solutions to your specific challenge over a two-month period.

About the Program:

GNBCC’s HBC project is a two-month internship program that connects Ghanaian tertiary students and young entrepreneurs with Dutch and Ghanaian horticultural companies to solve real business challenges. This initiative is powered by GNBCC’s Private Sector Development (PSD) Program, and aligns with the priorities of the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Ghana, particularly in promoting youth employment, entrepreneurship, and sustainable agribusiness.

Key Details:

  • Application Deadline: Friday, 13th February 2026.
  • Commitment Fee: GHS 1,150.00 (Due only upon selection).
  • Internship Period: April – May 2026.
