Who we are:

BvR Productions is a Ghana-based production company led by filmmaker and producer Barbara van Rijn Tuwor. Built on nearly two decades of experience across Ghana and Africa, the company is rooted in strong local networks, on-the-ground production knowledge, and a practical understanding of filming in diverse environments. Rather than operating as a large production house, we work with a focused network of experienced freelance professionals who understand both international expectations and local realities.

What we do

We produce documentary-style content, branded films, and corporate storytelling for companies and organisations operating in Ghana and across Africa. Our work covers the full production process: concept development, storytelling, field production, directing, crew management, and final delivery. In addition to film production, we also support clients with animation, podcasts, graphic design, and communication concept development. We also provide reliable local production support for international teams filming in the region.
