GNBCC – Ghana Netherlands Business & Culture Council

GNBCC in January 2026: Events, Engagements & Key Updates

The GNBCC team started 2026 after an energizing break, ready to take on our ambitious programme for the year. This renewed momentum was inspired by a strategy session with our Board, led by Dr. Kweku Ainuson, Board Chair of the GNBCC.

As we look ahead, we aim to build on several successful initiatives from 2025, including:

Webinar Series: We will maintain a focus on informative and engaging sessions that place our members in the spotlight. Upcoming webinars include a session with People’s Pension Trust on the iCare pension programme for informal workers and families, as well as a webinar with AB Lexmall & Co. on sexual harassment in the workplace.

Breakfast Meetings: Plans are underway to host the first breakfast meeting in March 2026. This will focus on the investment climate and the GIPA Act, in collaboration with the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), and the European Chamber of Commerce (EuroCham).

CFO/CEO Dinners: These will continue as exclusive, finance-focused dinners for premium members.

Themed Cocktails: We plan to revamp our networking events by targeting specific subjects and themes. Our goal is to add more value and better highlight the businesses in our network.

New Features Planned for 2026

In addition to our existing activities, we are introducing several new initiatives this year:

  • A Gala & Awards Dinner scheduled for September
  • A Trade Mission to The Netherlands, with details to be shared in due course
  • Expanded Marketing and Communication Features, offering members increased visibility through GNBCC’s digital platforms, which currently reach over 6,000 people. Members are encouraged to engage with our communications team to leverage these platforms and boost their marketing reach.

January Highlights

In January, GNBCC hosted a successful webinar on the practical application of the VAT reform in collaboration with RDK (watch here). We also conducted member visits to explore joint networking initiatives within the GNBCC community and ensure our services continue to align with members’ evolving needs.

Stay tuned for updates on upcoming activities through our weekly newsletter and take a look at all our planned events here.
