Member Webinar: Understanding the New VAT Reform (Act 1151)

The Ghana Netherlands Business & Culture Council (GNBCC), in partnership with RDK, will host a Member Webinar to support businesses in navigating the Value Added Tax Act, 2025 (Act 1151), which became effective on 1st January 2026.

The new VAT reform introduces significant changes that will directly affect business operations, compliance, and tax planning. Key updates include the reduction of the effective VAT rate to 20%, the abolition of the COVID-19 Health Recovery Levy, and the re-coupling of NHIL and GETFund as claimable input taxes.

This webinar is designed to help members understand what has changed, what it means for their businesses, and how to prepare effectively under the new VAT regime.
